We are your official Indian store for all things Indian but especially food and spices. When it comes to taste, nothing beats the taste of good old home cooking even when it comes to Indian food. There is something familiar and satisfying about the scent of curry wafting through the house.

My family is well know for their cooking in the village of Bheemasamudra India where most of the secrets of Indian home cooking are kept. Fortunately my mom and her sisters have taught me well through the years. I have changed what I don’t like to meet my American palate and my friends and family love the Indian inspired and original dishes I make.

What no one likes is how labor intensive and time consuming it is to make indian food. Chopping onions and chilis, grating ginger, coconut and garlic, sautéing and simmering until just the right consistency is achieved. And wouldn’t you know, some of the ingredients have already gone bad.

Then there is the spice! Getting the spices right is an art. Not too hot, not too mild, not too heavy and just the right amount of cream.
